Having an interest in photography since my father gave me my first Kodak camera in the late 60’s, it was only natural that when digital photography came along in the early 90’s my film cameras took a back seat.
Now digital technology has reached the masses, we see far more photographs in the media that came from an amateur source. Media groups are always on the look-out for newsworthy photographs, and even photographs taken on mobile phones are making the cut!
Using digital technology, and programs like Adobe; anything is possible. Loved ones can be added to photographs, the once dreaded lamp-post sticking out of someone's head can be removed.
The only limits are your imagination and a bit of patience.
It is important that we document the changes that are going on around us for the future, and not just with professionally taken shots, so go out and get snapping.
